English language learners are invited to join this evening edition of our popular English Writing and Conversation program led by Literacy Coordinator Aaron Devine. Tonight's topic is MUSIC. Participants are encouraged to first write in a journal in order to discover their words and ideas. Then join a conversation with other learners.

Possible starters include:

  • What kind of music do you like?
  • Do you play any musical instruments or sing?
  • What kind of music is popular or traditional in your home culture?
  • What songs remind you of the people or places in your life?
  • If you could meet any musical artist, who would you meet and why?

Recommended for intermediate levels or higher, but all are welcome to participate as they can.

Meet in the Literacy Classroom (1st floor of the Library next to the public computers. Click here for a short video tour.) If the weather is nice, this program will move outside to the Library Lawn (under the large tree at the corner of Main Street and Spring Street). RSVP requested but not required to Aaron (adevine@minlib.net or 781-314-3442).
