The magic of gel prints is the imperfection and slight unpredictability. Using a gel plate you make an impression of your chosen shapes (leaves for this class) on a light layer of acrylic paint, and then transfer what's remaining onto a piece of paper. You can put multiple layers of acrylic impressions on top of each other to create complex abstract images, use multiple colors, or keep it simple. The gel print process is the most fun when treated like a science experiment with color and shapes!
